Responsibilities
* Operate cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness within Sainsbury’s stores.
* Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping.
* Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies as required in-store.
* Maintain trolley bays and external areas, keeping them free of leaves and debris.
* Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied.
What you will need
* Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential; on-the-job training will be provided.
* An eye for detail and cleanliness.
* A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.
* Smartphone with NFC capability to access the Arcus Connect App for recording time and attendance (a condition of employment).
Shift pattern and hours
* Stores open 7 days a week; shift patterns include early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work.
* Current shift pattern for this role: Sunday 10:00–14:00, Monday 10:00–14:00, Tuesday 10:00–14:00, Wednesday 10:00–14:00, Thursday 10:00–14:00, Friday 10:00–14:00, Saturday off.
* You may have opportunities to increase hours through overtime.
