Customer Service Advisor
Based in Aldridge, Walsall (WS9)
Offering £12.82 per hour, paid weekly - every Friday!
Full time, 37.5 hours per week - Temporary contract until May 2026
We are recruiting a Customer Service Advisor to join the friendly and supportive team with our client, who is a leading UK supplier of safety and workplace products. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys customer interaction, problem solving, and a varied, admin focused role.
About the Role
As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for a small portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring they receive accurate, efficient, and friendly support. This role is primarily email based (around 70%), with some phone interaction where needed.
Your responsibilities include:
* Providing proactive updates on deliveries, order changes, and general customer queries
* Liaising with warehouse and dispatch teams to monitor stock and resolve delays
* Completing general administrative tasks and data entry
* Inputting detailed product information into systems (e.g., workwear sizing, colours, branding, materials)
* Ensuring accuracy when handling manual system updates
Please note: This is not a traditional order-processing role - customers place orders online themselves.
Training & Onboarding
You will receive two weeks of structured on-the-job training, including:
* A day in the warehouse
* A day on the trade counter/shop floor
* A day shadowing a driver
* Office‑based training with a buddy to learn systems, admin processes, and call handling

* Has previous experience within a customer focused role, ideally business to business based but we are open to experience
* Has strong administration ability and IT skills
* Enjoys helping customers and problem-solving
* Has strong attention to detail

* Is reliable, a quick learner and eager to be a strong representative of the business
Hours of Work:
* Full time -37.5 hours per week
* Monday-Friday
* 8.30am-5pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch break
