Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Building Services Engineer to oversee the maintenance and operation of plant rooms and HVAC systems within a prestigious corporate environment at Stockley Park. This flagship site demands a meticulous, proactive, and safety-conscious approach to engineering excellence.
Job Type: 3 Months FTC
Key Responsibilities
* Managing HVAC assets including BMS, FCUs, AHUs, VRF and VRV systems
* Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across building services
* Diagnosing and resolving system faults while maintaining clear client communications
* Handling small power, lighting, and minor mechanical/plumbing tasks
* Participating in the on-call rota for emergency and reactive works
* Completing documentation, RAMS, and working within permit-to-work systems
* Providing high-quality customer service and proactive building walk-throughs
* Supporting additional building duties (e.g. porterage, minor fabric repairs) as part of a One Mitie approach
Essential Qualifications & Skills
* Familiarity with Health & Safety procedures and permit systems
* Manual handling capability, including working at heights
* Strong communication skills and digital proficiency
* Ability to work independently or collaboratively
Preferred
* C&G Level 3 Heating & Ventilation
* Mechanical Engineering credentials
* 17th or 18th Edition Electrical certification
Experience Profile
You should bring hands-on experience in a facilities/maintenance/high-end corporate office environment and demonstrate competency with:
* Scheduled maintenance tasks (e.g. fire alarm tests, emergency light checks, temperature readings)
* Reactive repairs and first-line fault response
* Meter readings, luminaire replacements, plumbing fixes
* Accurate work documentation using digital platforms
