We’re looking for a motivated and professional Receptionist, dedicated to providing a welcoming first point of contact for visitors, customers, and callers, while supporting the smooth running of the office.

What you'll be doing
* Greet and assist all visitors, clients, and suppliers in a friendly and professional manner.
* Answer incoming calls, directing enquiries or taking accurate messages as required.
* Manage incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and ensure items reach the appropriate department.
* Support the office with general administrative tasks, including photocopying, scanning, filing, and stationery management.
* Maintain a tidy and presentable reception and meeting room area, ensuring facilities are ready for use.
* Assist the Office Manager & PA to the CEO with meeting coordination and travel arrangements when required.
* Handle enquiries professionally and confidentially.
* Work collaboratively with the team to provide high-quality service to both internal and external stakeholders.
* Act in accordance with Van Elle’s policies and procedures, undertaking any other duties reasonably required to support the effective running of the office.
Who we're looking for
* Experience in a receptionist or front of house role, ideally within a busy office or construction environment.
* Flexibility to provide additional cover for the morning Receptionist during periods of holiday or absence, sometimes at short notice.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a confident telephone manner.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Friendly, approachable, and able to build positive relationships at all levels.
* Practical, logical, and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a calm and professional approach.
* Proactive attitude and willingness to support colleagues.

* Eligible to work and live in the UK.
