Salary of £, on completion of probation period.
Serco supports the development of the RAF’s aircrew, engineers, and air traffic controllers through our contract with the Air Cadet organization. We maintain and manage their fleet of gliders. As an Aircraft Engineering Supervisor, you'll help keep these aircraft operational and in the air.
* Carry out responsibilities of Support Staff with Supervisory Responsibilities according to Military Aviation Authority regulations.
* Lead and supervise engineering personnel maintaining Viking and other aircraft at RAF Syerston and other UK locations.
* Perform roles and duties as directed by business needs.
* Based at RAF Syerston, with UK-wide travel required.
* Be part of a dedicated aviation team offering career progression, flexible working, and early Friday finishes.
Requirements:
* Experience or training in MOD Phase 2 technical training or civilian equivalent.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in civilian industry or Armed Forces in a relevant trade.
* Good fault diagnosis, technical competence, and communication skills.
* Full driving license and medically fit for aircraft engineering environment.
