Sheridan Maine is currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a growing business in the Reading area.
Working for a SME business and reporting to the Group Finance Director, the role will encompass all aspects of management accounting and will be responsible for the following tasks:
* Prepare and distribute monthly management accounts
* Provide variance analysis and commentary
* Liaise with budget holders and prepare the annual budgets
* Run monthly budget review meetings
* Business partner with stakeholders providing key analysis and management information
* Ensure the timely month end close of financial activities such as journals, accruals and prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations
* Review and develop processes and systems
* Provide financial support with ongoing projects
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
* Proven experience in an all round management accountant or similar role
* Strong analytical and IT skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Experience of working with a range stakeholders
* Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
