Principle / Senior Bridge Engineer\n\n3 - 6 months\n\nOutside IR35\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLeading the technical delivery of design tasks and activities\nPreparing and/or checking/approving detailed technical reports, calculations, drawings and specifications\nDeveloping designs from concept stage through to detailed design Implementing workflow, design processes and best practices\nSupporting the technical and professional development of team members\nCommunicating direct with clients and other stakeholders\nContributing to the resource management of the Team Contributing to the development and delivering of the business strategy\nEnsuring the Team complies with relevant standards, regulations and project briefs as well as internal Quality Management System Experience across National Highways, Network Rail, Local Highway Authorities and private development projects \n\nExperience \n\nDemonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels, both internally and externally.\nProven experience in engaging directly with clients and stakeholders through face-to-face interactions.\nExpertise in translating complex engineering concepts and solutions into clear, understandable information for non-technical audiences.\nExperience working on projects across National Highway, Network Rail, local highway authorities, and private developments.\nProficiency in developing designs from initial concept through to detailed design, ensuring a seamless transition across project stages.\nSkilled in preparing comprehensive technical reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications with attention to detail.\nAbility to implement efficient workflows, design processes, and best practices to enhance project outcomes.\nStrong background in quality management, ensuring all work complies with relevant standards, regulations, and project briefs.\nExperience leading smaller projects and managing tasks or activities within larger projects.\nCompetent in contributing to project scheduling and resource planning.\nCommitted to supporting the technical and professional growth of team members through mentoring and guidance.\nActively contribute to the development and execution of the company's strategic goals.\nIdeally you will be a chartered enigneer \n\nersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants.
