AIS are looking for a Payroll Assistant to join our team in Skelmersdale on a full time and permanent contract.
What Will You Do As Our Payroll Assistant
* Collate and process timesheets into accounting software
* Input payable hours (uplifts and overtime) based on hours worked, and contract entitlements into Excel.
* Process data/prepare payroll in the payroll module.
* Support payroll manager as required with preparing/collating payroll information for the groups foreign subsidiary’s
* Support payroll manager as required with preparing payroll tax information/payments for the group.
* Support payroll manager as required with pension and auto enrolment administration.
* Support payroll manager as required with shadow payroll administration
What Are We Looking For In Our Payroll Assistant
* Strong organisational skills
* This is a dynamic role with shifting priorities so we are looking for someone who can stay calm, organised and focused during busy periods
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages, particularly with Excel (small excel test may be required upon interview)
* Good numerical and analytical thinking
* Comfortable working without constant supervision
* Excellent communication skills
* Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
* Have experience working in a payroll assistant or similar role, however full training will be provided
