Overview
SHE Manager – Wanlip, Leicestershire
Location: Wanlip Sewage Treatment Works, Fillingate, Leicester LE7 4PF
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday – Permanent, Full Time
Responsibilities
* Leading on-site SHE management, including inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
* Providing accurate advice, training, and support to project teams, subcontractors, and new starters.
* Ensuring compliance with legal, client, and Kier SHE standards while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
* Preparing and delivering SHE reporting, ensuring incidents and near misses are thoroughly investigated and escalated.
* Acting as a visible leader on-site, embedding behavioural safety and Kier\'s values across all levels of activity.
Qualifications
* NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma (or equivalent) and professional membership (e.g. IOSH, IIRSM, IEMA).
* Significant experience (5+ years) managing health, safety and environmental standards in a high-risk industry.
* Strong leadership and influencing skills, with proven experience managing teams and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
