Astute's Renewables Team is partnering with a UK-wide distributor of sustainable energy products, to recruit a Business Development Manager nationwide, prospecting customers across the North of England.\n\nThe people-centric Business Development Manager role comes with a strong bonus scheme, electric company car, free gym membership, laptop, phone and plenty of room to grow within a forward-thinking organisation.\n\nIf you're a Business Development Manager or Sales Executive looking to work for an organisation where your contribution is genuinely valued and rewarded, then submit your CV to apply today.\n\nResponsibilities and duties of the Business Development Manager role \n\nReporting to the Commercial Manager you will:\n\nCreate and implement strategies aimed at boosting revenue and enhancing client satisfaction.\nExplore and evaluate potential markets and emerging client demands.\nSchedule and lead meetings with potential business partners.\nRepresent the company's solutions in a way that aligns with customer goals and future needs.\nManage the preparation and processing of sales documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and legal regulations.\nDeliver reliable support and guidance post-sale to foster ongoing partnerships.\nCultivate strong, long-standing connections with both new and existing clients.\nSupport the development of junior team members, helping them grow into effective sales professionals. \n\nProfessional qualifications \n\nWe are looking for someone with the following:\n\nPrevious experience in a business development, sales, or similar client-facing role\nBackground within EV, ideally within wholesale. \nDemonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets\nBackground in customer service or client relations is advantageous\nComfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g., Zoho or similar platforms)\nStrong verbal and written communication skills in English\nGood understanding of the market and industry trends\nDegree in business, sales, or a related area is beneficial but not required\n\nPersonal skills \n\nThe Business Development Manager role would suit someone who is:\n\nConfident communicator with strong influencing and persuasion abilities\nSkilled in developing strong client relationships\nEffective at managing time and prioritising tasks \n\nSalary and benefits of the Business Development Manager role \n\nBasic salary between £36,000 - £46,000 depending on experience.\nBonus scheme with on-target earnings exceeding £80,000.\nCompany pension scheme.\n25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.\nFree on-site parking.\nFully electric company car.\nLaptop and mobile phone provided.\nFree gym membership.\n\n INDRENAstute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
