Job Description
Manage and lead the educational establishment(s) to benefit children and the wider community, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and guidance issued by the Scottish Government and East Ayrshire Council. This role supports the promotion, delivery, and integration of the Council's key objectives, including the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement, Children and Young Person's Service Plan, and Best Value.
Requirements
The duties involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants must become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member for Regulated Work with these groups, or have an existing PVG Scheme Record, prior to an employment offer. PVG records are regularly updated, and any relevant disclosures will be discussed with the applicant before employment is confirmed.

The Individual
This is a permanent full-time position based at Loudoun Academy & Communication Centre, Galston. The hours are 35 per week, scheduled at the line manager's discretion. The annual salary is £98,685.
