Purpose of the position Carry out aircraft painting tasks in accordance with work card instructions and relevant controlled technical documentation. Actively support, promote, and contribute to continuous improvement ideas and activity to ensure that progressive gains in efficiency are maintained. Accountability Accountable for the safe and compliant completion of painting tasks on aircraft and aircraft components under the supervision of a supervisor or Team Leader. Responsibilities: Carry out paint tasks on aircraft/components in accordance with approved documentation. Comply with HSE and airworthiness regulations and requirements. Work in accordance with company procedures to ensure compliance with requirements associated with the role, e.g., tool control, document control, system updates and certification. Booking and accounting for time Working to and maintaining a high standard of workmanship Tasks: Various coating removal techniques, Chemical / mechanical Various coating application methods, Atomised and non-atomised Mix paints in accordance with paint manufacturers' technical data. To work in accordance with company procedures, housekeeping and good working practices. Working overtime when required Other duties as assigned by Supervisors or Line Managers Capability: Detail orientated. Able to work well in a team or individually. High levels of integrity. A working knowledge of Health and Safety, Fire and Environmental regulations Work at height and in confined spaces Technical Competencies: Comfortable working with aircraft technical data, maintenance manuals.
