Flying Start Nurseries @ Marjon need an Apprentice Early Years Educator!
We are looking to take on anApprentice who can work in our busy nursery setting with our little ones, joining a team who are super passionate about outdoor learning and inspiring our children.
Level 3 coursesavailable for an immediatestart.
You need to be:
* Reliable and enthusiastic with high levels of motivation
* Organised
* Display good communication skills, with other adults and most importantly with children!
* Ability to work well within a team
* Passionate to work with children in the Early Years
* Caring and kind
You need to have:
* A basic level of education to include, GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 (A-C) or above - If you do not have one of these, we may be able to offer functional skills training, so please do still apply
* Good communication skills
* Basic IT skills
Your core job will be:
* To support the delivery ofan appropriate play based Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that enables children to make individual progress
* To understand and work to allnursery policies and procedures and statutory guidance, to help ensure thenursery meets Ofsted requirements at all times
* To provide a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment, both indoors and outdoors, at all times for the children
We will support you by:
* Providing a laptop for you to complete your work on
* Giving you designated paid time each week (20% of your contracted hours) to support the completion of your training
* Ensuring you have both face to face and online training with your dedicated assessor,enablingyou to progress
* Guiding and teaching you how to be an Early Years Educator!
* Moving you from an apprentice wage to living wage for your age when 25% complete on your qualification! This can be within 3-4 months!
