Anderson Knight are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Financial Accountant to join our clients dynamic Group Finance team. This is a pivotal role offering variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced, evolving environment. As a qualified accounting professional, you will play a key role in ensuring the Group's statutory and regulatory obligations are met. You will report directly to the Head of Group Finance and work closely with the Chief Financial Officer on strategic projects, gaining exposure across the wider business. Key Responsibilities * Lead the preparation of Group statutory accounts for both year-end and half-year reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS. * Prepare statutory accounts for subsidiary entities within the Group. * Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors during annual audits and reviews. * Produce monthly management accounts for key subsidiary companies. * Oversee Group-wide Companies House filings and ensure timely submission of all statutory returns. * Prepare and submit national statistics and regulatory reports as required. * Support ongoing technical accounting compliance, including the application of standards such as IFRS 16 (Leases) and IFRS 2 (Share-based Payments). * Assist with the Group’s monthly consolidation and cash flow reporting processes. * Contribute to short-term cash forecasting, including continuous improvements to forecasting models. * Serve as the internal contact for insurance-related queries and support the annual renewal process. * Collaborate with Company Secretarial and Legal teams on regulatory and governance matters. * Support Group corporate simplification initiatives and M&A integration activity where applicable. To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate: * Fully qualified ACCA / CA // CIMA * Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience in preparing consolidated financial statements. * A methodical approach and high standards of accuracy in financial reporting. * Excellent verbal and written communication, with confidence in liaising across all levels of the business. * A collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with colleagues across departments.
