We're excited to offer a 12-month fixed-term opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our welcoming team at Swindon Vets for Pets. The Role This is a part-time position (approx. 20-30 hours per week) with flexibility to suit your lifestyle. Ideally, you'll work across Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, with some Saturday mornings on a fair rota. We're open to discussing working patterns to find what works best for you. About You We're looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who: Is confident with routine surgery and consultations Enjoys working as part of a collaborative, supportive team Has strong communication skills and builds great client relationships An interest in exotics would be a bonus, but not essential About the Practice You'll be joining a friendly and experienced team of 14, including: 3 Veterinary Surgeons (including a medicine certificate holder) 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses 1 Student Nurse 1 Veterinary Care Assistant Dedicated admin team We pride ourselves on creating a supportive environment where everyone works together to deliver excellent patient and client care. Facilities Our well-equipped practice includes: 3 consult rooms Separate dog and cat wards Operating theatre Dental X-ray Ultrasound Endoscope Fully equipped in-house lab (IDEXX suite) We also have a comfortable colleague space, and a well-stocked team larder, because we know the little things matter!
