Are you an experienced and passionate teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with autism and complex needs? We’re seeking a dedicated SEN Class Teacher to join a specialist provision supporting students aged 7–19 with a primary or secondary diagnosis of Autism and related social and communication needs.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a setting where behaviours are excellent, and where students follow a range of academic and life skills pathways including GCSEs, Functional Skills, and BTECs.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Deliver high-quality teaching in subjects such as Maths, English, or Computing (other subjects considered)
* Support students with ADHD, OCD, PDA, and other complex needs
* Plan and deliver lessons that promote academic, social, and emotional progress
* Use creative and adaptive teaching strategies to meet individual needs
* Lead and support a small team of Teaching Assistants and HLTAs
* Monitor student wellbeing and liaise with pastoral, clinical, and SEND teams
* Uphold safeguarding and equality policies across all aspects of your role
What We’re Looking For:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. Experience achieving outstanding outcomes for SEN learners
