Apointe are partnering exclusively with a private equity-backed, highly acquisitive business entering a critical phase of growth as they look to hire this newly created role.
The Role:
You'll operate as the central point of accountability across integrations, working closely with the Finance Director, acquisitions team, and wider leadership to ensure every deal lands properly.
This role is flexible on location, but will require regular travel to newly acquired sites being on the ground, understanding the business, and driving integration first-hand.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Owning Day 1, 30, 100 integration plans across multiple live deals
* Bringing structure, pace, and control to a fast-moving M&A environment
* Embedding financial controls, governance, and cash visibility from Day 1
* Aligning reporting, KPIs, and performance to the deal model
* Leading the integration of finance systems and data, ensuring consistency and scalability
* Acting as the bridge between acquisitions, finance, and operational leadership
* Managing risk, dependencies, and integration challenges in real time
* Building and evolving a repeatable integration playbook as the business continues to scale
* Supporting and developing junior team members across integration activity
What our client is looking for:
* Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
* Proven experience in acquisition / finance integration
* Comfortable operating in fast-paced, change-led environments
* Happy to travel and work closely with acquired businesses on-site
* Able to balance hands-on delivery with strategic oversight
* Strong stakeholder management across finance and non-finance teams
* Experience with systems integration / transformation (D365 exposure beneficial, not essential)
* Someone who brings structure, clarity, and control into complexity
