Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of the NHS in Gloucestershire for a Band 5 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join a community mental health service.
Contract Details
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Pay rate: £21.50 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: Temporary, 3 months initially, with potential extension
Role Overview The successful candidate will work within a community mental health team, providing high-quality care and support to service users with a range of mental health needs. The role involves assessments, care planning, risk management, and ongoing therapeutic interventions in line with NHS and Trust policies.
Key Responsibilities
Managing a caseload of service users in the community
Completing mental health assessments and care plans
Monitoring risk and safeguarding concerns
Delivering recovery-focused interventions
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Maintaining accurate clinical records
Requirements
Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with valid NMC registration
Previous experience working in a community mental health setting
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
