We are looking for a friendly, adaptable Personal Assistant to support a gentleman living in Fairfield. This role focuses on promoting independence and providing day-to-day support within the home and the community.
Responsibilities include:
* Supporting daily living and promoting independence
* Assisting with general household tasks such as cleaning, tidying, and laundry
* Helping with meal preparation and mealtime support
* Providing medication reminders and collecting prescriptions
* Encouraging and assisting with accessing community activities
Ideal candidate:
* Friendly, flexible, and able to use their own initiative
* Person-centred, with sensitivity to the client's preferences
* Reliable and supportive in promoting independence
* A driver would be an advantage but not essential
Suggested hours: Monday 0900 - 1200, Wednesday 0900 - 1200 & Friday 0900 - 1200, but employer is open to discussion and adjustment.
