Position: Optometrist
Location: Portsmouth - Cosham
Salary: up to £70,000 depending on experience
Working hours: Full time or part time with weekend flexibility and no late nights
Experience level: You must be a GOC registered Optometrist
We have an excellent opportunity for a driven Optometrist to join our thriving Cosham store. You will join a highly successful and energetic team who work together to ensure our patients receive an excellent experience and you will also benefit from an engaging, supportive, and approachable leadership team. Our store has 3 optical test rooms fully equipped with the latest clinical equipment and technology including OCT and Nidek Phoropters. We are looking for an Optometrist who is a team player and someone who can adapt well in a busy store. We are passionate about the clinical and professional development of our team, and as our new Optometrist we want to support you every step of the way. This position in Cosham will take you near the Port City of Portsmouth in Hampshire, with great transport links – the perfect location for culture and bustling city life.
Responsibilities
Provide eye examinations and a contact lens service that meet high clinical standards and NHS guidelines. Deliver clear advice to customers and ensure they feel confident in the care they receive. Explain examination processes and present options to patients. Maintain accurate records and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in optometry. Work as a team player to support store goals and deliver excellent patient experiences.

Qualifications
You must be a GOC registered Optometrist to apply. You will be a professional with an ability to put customers at ease, communicate clearly through the eye examination process, and maintain accurate records. A passion for the field and an aptitude for organisation are essential.
