Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) - Harrow - Multiple Roles - September Start We are hiring Special Needs Teaching Assistants to join a group of mainstream and specialist schools across Harrow from September 2025. These are full-time positions supporting students with ASD, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and PMLD, with several vacancies available. The Role - Special Needs Teaching Assistant in Harrow Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm Support pupils with a range of needs on a 1:1 or small group basis Follow individual EHCP targets under guidance from the class teacher and SENCO Assist with behaviour management, sensory regulation, and social-emotional support Support with personal care or mobility when required Work across early years, primary, or secondary depending on experience and preference Essential Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience supporting children or young people with SEND Confident working with students with ASD, SEMH, or complex needs Able to commit to full-time hours in Harrow Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working as part of a structured team Desirables Experience using PECS or Makaton Team Teach or other de-escalation training Experience in a specialist provision or ARP Background in care, youth work, or psychology What We Offer Several full-time positions available across Harrow - trial days offered before committing Weekly PAYE pay - no hidden deductions Free CPD including over 400 SEN-focused online training modules Clear career progression routes into HLTA or teaching roles Ongoing support from a dedicated SEN consultant If you're a Special Needs Teaching Assistant looking for your next role in Harrow, we have multiple placements available now for September 2025 starts.
