Overview
Modelling Methodology Powertrain Engineer role at Alpine Formula One Team. This position is based in Enstone within the Engineering Office and focuses on modelling methodology for powertrain and multibody systems.
Responsibilities
* Develop models of powertrain and multibody systems using primarily the Modelica language.
* Apply a strong understanding of controls and modal analysis.
* Contribute to automation, scripting, and coding (MATLAB and Python).
Who We Want
* We are looking for someone who wants to build their career within F1, with experience in powertrain systems (through industry roles or a PhD).
* The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
* Deep understanding of high-frequency torsional analysis and powertrain dynamics.
* Proficiency in simulation software such as Dymola and/or Simulink and in scripting with Python and MATLAB.
