 
        Were seeking an experienced CNC Milling Programmer/Setter/Operator to take technical leadership within a small machining cell of 3 & 5-axis milling machines. This is a hands-on position for a highly skilled machinist who enjoys problem-solving, mentoring others, and maintaining precision standards across multiple machines. Key Responsibilities: Lead technical operations within a CNC milling cell of 3 & 5-axis machines Program (online & offline), set, and operate CNC mills to exact specifications Interpret engineering drawings and 3D models Produce prototypes and small production runs to tight tolerances Perform in-process and final inspection using manual and CMM equipment Provide technical support to team members in programming, setup, and fixturing Maintain high-quality output while ensuring efficient workflow Experience & Skills: Proven experience as a CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator (3 & 5-axis milling) Background in technical leadership or mentoring machinists Strong knowledge of Heidenhain controls (essential) Experience with EDGECAM or similar CAM software Ability to inspect work accurately using CMMs and manual gauges Experience working with materials including Inconel, Titanium, Aluminium, Stainless Steel, and Engineering Plastics Strong attention to detail and quality mindset Qualifications: Relevant engineering qualification or time-served apprenticeship Demonstrable experience in a precision machining environment Why Join: Competitive hourly rate (£18£19 DOE) Early finish Fridays Stable, long-term position within a precision engineering environment Great opportunity to step up into a technical leadership position
