If you are a trained Mechanical Engineer with shop floor experience (i.e. CNC Operator/Production Engineer) looking for a company to help with your development, this could be your perfect chance to take the next step.
There are varying levels available within the Mechanical Fitting team with options for progression. Once fully trained, Mechanical Fitters will carry out the assembly of all mechanical systems & equipment for large robot automation installations in the UK & overseas
Requirements:
Hands-on experience of mechanical equipment assembly or machine building
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Experience of mechanical inspection
Have sound knowledge of manufacturing processes
Self-motivated and able to use initiative in prioritising tasks
Keen to accept responsibility and accountability
Professional manner, able to represent the company to a high standard
Basic tool kit required, supplemented by company tool allowance scheme
