Responsibilities
The Traffic Management Coordinator is a pivotal role within our utilities sector. You will take full responsibility for building and coordinating all activities for our utilities contracts, reporting into the Contract Manager and assisting in logistically managing the workload of a team of Traffic Management Operatives to ensure they meet expected standards, times, and locations. Responsibilities include accurate building, reviewing and creation of picking lists for all works onto our ERP system; liaison with our client to fulfil capacity efficiently; scheduling planned and reactive works to achieve contractual SLA's and KPI's; attending meetings with the team and client; providing information to clients; addressing enquiries and resolving issues; maintaining financial transactions; keeping accurate records; answering calls and communicating with the contract team; and supporting learning and development activities.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Confidence working with Orion/SAP and other IT systems.
* Ability to work under high pressure and meet tight deadlines/SLA's when required.
* Excellent communication skills, both face‑to‑face and over the telephone.
* Excellent negotiating skills.
* Ability to resolve scheduling and logistics conflicts quickly.
* Ability to complete work tasks with thoroughness, accuracy, and consistency.
* Customer‑focused attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Eagerness to learn and take a proactive approach to tasks.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record‑keeping.
* Traffic management experience (not essential).
* Scheduling & Planning experience (training will be provided, not essential).

* General hours of work are 42.5 hours per week, with a varying shift pattern between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., including some weekend shifts on a rota basis.
