Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of Beaumont Primary Academy. At Beaumont HLTA’s play an integral role in delivering high quality teaching and learning across the curriculum.
Working as an HLTA will enable you to become familiar with teaching across different year groups and develop knowledge and skills across the primary age range. We work with HLTA's who are qualified teachers, wanting to widen their experience who then go on to take up a teaching position.
We offer strong professional development opportunities. Responsibilities undertaken consist of covering classes each week to support PPA and leadership time as well as short term cover for teacher/HLTA absence.
To undertake these roles, you must be able to evidence a relevant qualification (PGCE/HLTA) or evidence sufficient experience in this role already. All HLTA posts have planning time to support high quality education.
