We are seeking an experienced and skilled CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our growing team within a precision engineering environment.
This is a hands-on role where you will take ownership of programming, setting, and running CNC milling machines, ensuring high-quality production, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Programme, set, and operate CNC milling machines, including:
o Bridgeport Vertical Mills (Heidenhain controls)
o Haas Mills (Fanuc controls)
* Coordinate all programming and setting activities, working collaboratively with other setters
* Support 2nd operations machinery when required, including:
o Thread rollers, grinding machines, drill banks, deburring tools, torque testers, and more
* The CNC Miller will carry out first-off inspections and in-process checks for both 1st and 2nd operations
* Work with a variety of materials including aluminium, stainless steels, and Inconel
* Ensure all products meet compliance standards
* The CNC Machinist will complete daily maintenance and cycle time documentation
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment
CNC Miller/ CNC Machinist - Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines Flexible on CNC Branding Machines
* Must have experience in Fanuc and Heidenhain Controls
* Strong working knowledge of 3 & 4 Axis Milling Machines
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
* Excellent measurement and inspection skills using a range of metrology tools
