Responsibilities
* Performing mechanical fitting tasks on marine vessels
* Conducting maintenance, repairs and installations on various equipment
* Ensuring all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations
* Collaborating with other team members to ensure project targets are met
* Documenting and reporting work completed and any issues encountered
* Adhering to project deadlines and maintaining a high level of workmanship
Job Requirements
* Experience in shipbuilding/shiprepair or ex Royal Navy
* Strong mechanical fitting skills
* Relevant qualifications (NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or equivalent apprenticeship)
* Current SC Clearance is essential - will required confirmation form UKSV
Working Hours
* Normal dayshift: 08:05 to 16:45 Monday to Thursday, 08:05 to 12:05 Friday
* Overtime available project dependant
* Maybe a requirement for AWP (Alternative Working Pattern): 12-hour shifts on a 21-day rotation
* One rate all hours - £39/h Umb co or £29.12/h PAYE plus £3.51/h holiday pay (can be accrued or advanced)
