This is a key leadership role within Drivetech, responsible for overseeing our Commercial Bookings, Training, and FORS Auditing teams, both office-based and field-based. You’ll ensure smooth, cost-effective operations that meet contracted service levels, quality standards, and company policies.
You’ll take ownership of financial planning and forecasting, including managing the recruitment of training contractors. A core focus will be controlling costs without compromising on service quality, ensuring the function delivers strong performance within budget.
Monitoring performance, customer satisfaction, and resource utilisation will be central to your role. You’ll ensure that non-digital business from the sales team is delivered efficiently and with minimal cost to the business.
Working closely with Sales and Product teams, you’ll gain visibility of upcoming business and product developments. This will help you plan and manage internal and external resources effectively to meet future demand.
As a member of the Drivetech leadership team, you’ll play a vital role in shaping operational strategy and influencing business decisions.
What will I be doing?
* Managing the Training P&L to ensure revenue and cost targets are met within budget.
* Ensuring trainer availability across both Police and Commercial contracts to meet service levels.
* Building strong working relationships with the Drivetech Leadership Team to support collaboration.
* Developing influential partnerships with key stakeholders, including UKROEd.
* Attending customer meetings and contributing to the development of bids and tenders.
* Supporting AA functions to foster a culture of service excellence and exceed NPS targets.
* Leading teams to meet performance targets and KPIs across training and bookings.
* Overseeing regional managers and team leaders to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce.
* Ensuring compliance with company policies, including HR, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards.
* Driving operational efficiency through process improvements, system upgrades, and innovation.
What do I need?
* Experience managing financial budgets, P&L, and driving operational performance.
* Proven ability to lead bids, tenders, and contractual negotiations.
* Strong skills in managing relationships with both external customers and internal stakeholders.
* Ability to gather and apply customer feedback to improve service delivery.
* Project Management qualification and experience in leading change initiatives.
* Solid understanding of ISO standards and compliance requirements.
* Knowledge of the police and government sectors and their operational frameworks.
* Excellent relationship-building skills across all levels of the organisation.
* Confidence in analysing complex data to support strategic decision‑making.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
