The Role
As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll own the critical first moments of the customer journey – from discovery, through registration and onboarding, to first payment – across both web and mobile. Your work will be central to increasing registrations, improving conversion, and building long-term member trust. Working closely with UX research, product, marketing, and development teams, you’ll craft experiences that combine commercial success with user-centric design.
What You’ll Do:
* Lead end-to-end design for acquisition and onboarding, shaping web and mobile experiences from first touch to first payment
* Optimise registration and onboarding flows to reduce friction, increase conversion, and communicate value clearly
* Partner with product, engineering, and commercial teams to align design with strategy and experimentation goals
* Co-lead an experimentation roadmap with the CRO Manager, defining hypotheses, success metrics, and ensuring design quality
* Translate insights from user research and data into impactful product experiences
* Contribute to and evolve the design system, building customer-centric, evidence-based patterns
What We’re Looking For:
* 5+ years’ experience in product design with a focus on acquisition, onboarding, and conversion
* Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centred design and measurable business impact
* Exceptional visual and interaction design skills with meticulous attention to detail
* Experience framing complex challenges into actionable problem statements and hypotheses
* Expertise in experimentation methods and rapid testing of design solutions
* Excellent storytelling and communication skills, especially around value propositions and pricing
* Proficiency in Figma and rapid prototyping, with experience using AI-assisted design tools
* Proven ability to design across platforms, including native apps and responsive web
Desirable:
* Experience in subscription businesses, two-sided marketplaces, or complex products
* Background in high-growth or scale-up environments with a strong experimentation culture
* Familiarity with product analytics platforms (e.g., Amplitude)
