Junior Account Manager Overview
A luxury homewares business is looking for a Junior Account Manager to join their growing team. This business supplies high-end furniture and home accessories to a number of customers.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone early in their career with a background in interior design, homewares, textiles, or retail, who is keen to move into a client-facing commercial role within the interiors industry.
Junior Account Manager Responsibilities
1. Manage and develop new and existing trade accounts across your designated UK territory.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, interior designers, and other accounts.
3. Visit clients regularly to present collections, introduce new products, and maximise sales opportunities.
4. Act as a knowledgeable brand ambassador, confidently discussing materials, finishes, and design concepts.
5. Attend trade fairs to support buying, product launches and client engagement.
6. Maintain strong commercial awareness and contribute to overall sales growth.
7. Manage your own diary and territory, balancing current account management and new business activity.
Junior Account Manager Skills and Experience
8. Background in interior design, homewares, textiles, furniture, or retail is essential.
9. Experience working in a B2B environment is desirable.
10. Educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally within a design-related discipline.
11. Strong communication and relationship building skills.
12. Highly organized with excellent time management
13. Self-motivated, ambitious, and keen to grow within the interiors industry.
14. Full UK driving license.
