Overview
The Commercial team deals with cost-effective building, including quantity surveying, estimating, procurement and material buying. We focus on delivering best quality homes at the best possible cost and need a Commercial Administrator to support the Commercial Manager or Director.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Commercial Director/Manager to ensure relevant administrative tasks are dealt with efficiently.
* Perform general departmental administration tasks as required.
* Manage and maintain filing systems and databases.
* Liaise with internal and external customers to ensure smooth flow of information.
* Monitor costs incurred by the department.
* Ensure effective document processing within set time frames.
* Provide other ad‑hoc duties and support within the division.
Qualifications
* Experience in an administration/secretarial role.
* Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency with MS Office and good written English.
* Ability to generate professional correspondence independently.
* Self‑discipline, good time‑management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Ability to multi‑task and work efficiently under pressure.
* Team player and supportive colleague.
* Professional, pleasant manner when dealing with customers.
* Excellent telephone skills.
