Job Description
An ambitious, investor-backed group with international operations is seeking a commercially sharp Group Financial Controller to support its next stage of growth. Operating across multiple jurisdictions, currencies, and business lines, this role offers a rare blend of technical challenge, commercial visibility, and leadership responsibility.
You’ll work closely with the CFO to modernise and scale the group finance function, overseeing a high-performing team and driving improvements across controls, processes, and reporting.
Your Role
* Lead the month-end, group consolidation, and statutory reporting processes across multiple entities and currencies
* Oversee FX exposure, intercompany recharges, and international cashflow forecasting
* Manage and develop a capable team including the Financial Controller and junior finance staff
* Drive enhancements in financial systems and automate manual processes
* Own external audit and statutory compliance across all group entities
* Partner with the CFO on board reporting, M\&A activity, and commercial finance initiatives
About You
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong post-qualified experience in group-level finance
* Experience working in a complex, multi-entity, multi-currency environment
* Strong technical grounding with the confidence to lead group audits and statutory accounts
* Leadership experience – comfortable managing, mentoring, and uplifting a team
* Commercially aware and able to operate as a strategic sounding board to the CFO
* Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments with broad exposure
