The Venue: first direct arena
Voted Best New Venue in the World 2014 at the Stadium Business Awards, first direct arena has hosted artists such as Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, Michael Bublé and many others. The Arena’s unique "super theatre" configuration enhances the arena experience with seats facing the stage and high-quality acoustics. The venue has a 13,781-capacity and hosts approximately 100 events per year.
The Role
Working at first direct arena, Leeds is an exciting and fun opportunity for all, with the added bonus of flexible shifts to fit around other commitments. We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic individuals to join our food and beverage team on a casual, event-driven basis. Customer service is at the heart of everything we do and we are looking for team players who can contribute to the overall customer experience. We welcome applicants who take pride in their work, have a positive, friendly attitude and possess excellent communication skills. We are looking for staff with experience of working busy events in a high-pressured environment.

Role Responsibilities
* Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages
* Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
* Assess customers’ needs and meet them
* Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
* Restock and replenish inventory and supplies
* Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
* Comply with all food and beverage regulations
