We are looking for a Senior Manager, M&A to join our team in our new London office based in Chelsea. The M&A team plays a crucial role supporting and executing our strategy to expand and deliver its fixed-mobile convergence proposition in core markets through the selective acquisition of relevant cable/fibre and telecommunications businesses, opportunities in content and B2B, and by strengthening its partnership positions with existing and new partners including Joint Ventures. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Assist in the coordination of one or more of Liberty Global’s M&A processes on a daily basis Provision of quantitative and qualitative analysis of acquisition targets, impact analysis on Liberty Global and support disposal projects Support of due diligence activities and preparation of all documentation Collaboration with internal, cross functional teams as required for each deal Liaison with external advisors Preparation of analysis and presentations of opportunities for Liberty Global’s investment committee and board of directors Contributing to wide range of strategic projects across all current territories and product/service propositions Support key business initiatives Market and competitor analysis Modelling and forecasting for initiatives, including commercial appraisal of projects Evaluation of risk opportunities KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE Essential Skills: Proven track record in managing the full M&A lifecycle within an M&A team (sourcing, valuation, due diligence, deal structuring, negotiation, and integration). Strong financial modelling inside, valuation techniques, and deal economics expertise as part of an existing Deep understanding of accounting, corporate finance, tax, and legal structures in M&A. Experience in managing complex, cross-border or multi-jurisdictional transactions. Strong track record of delivering multiple, concurrent deals on time and within scope Highly organized with the ability to manage due diligence workstreams across multiple stakeholders. Skilled in post-merger integration planning and execution. Ability to align deals with broader business strategy and growth objectives. Strong market and industry analysis skills to identify opportunities and assess risks. Commercially minded with a focus on value creation and long-term sustainability of acquisitions. Excellent communication and influencing skills, with credibility at executive and board level. Ability to lead cross-functional teams (finance, legal, operations, tax, HR, etc.) through high-pressure deal cycles. Skilled in managing external advisors (investment banks, consultants, lawyers, accountants). Experience in preparing and presenting investment cases to C-suite or Investment Committees. Nice to have: Experience working with outsourced/shared services finance models Exposure to infrastructure, energy, or CapEx-intensive environments Resilient, able to thrive in high-pressure and ambiguous environments.
