Description
• Learning to operate industrial sewing machines
• Sewing covers for gym pads and commercial seating
• Assisting with the reupholstery of gym pads in the workshop
• Stapling and fitting upholstery materials to frames and boards
• Preparing materials and cutting fabrics/vinyls
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Working closely with the workshop and office teams to ensure jobs are completed on time
Requirements
• Have an interest in sewing / vinyl
• Friendly and approachable
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn a new trade
• Good attention to detail and pride in your work
• Strong organisation skills
• Good communication skills to work effectively with internal staff
• A hands-on, practical approach
• Reliability and good timekeeping
• Reliable transport
