Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Account Assistant to support the finance team with day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with financial reporting to ensure smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Process purchase invoices, sales invoices, and expense claims accurately and on time
* Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
* Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts
* Support month-end and year-end closing activities
* Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
* Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries
* Handle customer and supplier queries related to accounts
* Support payroll processing as required
* Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures
Required Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in an accounts or finance-related role
* Basic understanding of accounting principles
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
* Experience using accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, SAP – or similar)
