We are looking for a proactive, positive New Business Development Executive with bundles of energy to join our established graphic design, printing and mailing company.
Heron Press has been established for over 35 years and is one of Birmingham's leading independent design, print and mailing companies. We are a family run business with big growth strategies. Over the last decade we have developed our graphic design studio into a creative space that works for digital and online offerings, designing and building websites, content for social media & branding for clients in a variety of sectors such as, medical, gifting, recruitment, engineering, automotive and business acquisition. The current team are second generation management and are looking for an injection of new inspiring talent to bring into the business.

The ideal candidate should be a great networker and look to build relationships with a consultative approach. It is important to be able to brainstorm creatively with colleagues and clients, developing ideas to sell to our clients to help their businesses grow through successful marketing activity. We want to be their chosen "added value" service.
It would be an asset if you have a proven track record of B2B selling however the hunger for ambition to succeed with your personality and ability to interact and engage with potential buyers are the most important qualities.
The role is office based, with the initial brief to identify and develop new prospects and raise the profile of Heron Press's products and services and inspiring them to engage with us. We will give full product/service training although an existing passion for the art of marketing will be beneficial to be successful.
You will have a significant input into how Heron Press is marketed to prospects, directly reporting to the Managing Director.
Role progression could include field sales, this would include a company car allowance, mobile and laptop.
Salary & Reward
37 hours per week. We are open to a conversation around incorporating these hours into a 4-day week. With the added benefit of no weekends or late evenings. The pay bracket advertised is negotiable on experience within the industry with the addition of a performance bonus which is uncapped and paid on sales targets being reached.
