Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Play Worker to join our team at Club Vale Ltd in Ewell. As a Play Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and engaging environment for children during after-school hours and holiday clubs, contributing to our mission of providing accessible and high-quality childcare.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and engage children in various play activities to promote their development.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all children during activities.
* Organise and facilitate fun and creative activities and games suitable for different age groups.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
* Support children's social skills development through positive interactions.
* Assist with setting up activities and managing resources.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a smooth operation.
* Qualifications
* Proven experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting preferred though not essential as training can be provided
* Strong communication skills in English.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Enthusiastic, patient, and caring attitude towards children.
* Valid driving license is preferred but not essential.
* Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare are advantageous.

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 7.5 – 22 per week
