Senior Social Worker – CioC
At Slough Children First, the Children in Our Care service – Thrive team 0‑15 – we are looking for a passionate and dedicated Senior Social Worker to make a real difference to the lives of our children.
As a Senior Social Worker you will:
* Work with children aged 0 to 15 years and support their care plans to achieve permanency via adoption or long‑term care.
* Care plan, safeguard, and support the allocation of children and young people to help them reach their best potential.
* Work with Unaccompanied Asylum‑Seeking Children and receive support to develop your skills in completing age assessments.
* Promote children’s choices, safety and fulfilment by actively listening to their voice.
Requirements:
* Registered Social Worker with Social Work England.
* Professional social work qualification or equivalent.
* Significant demonstrable experience working within a busy service.
