Role Responsibility This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Kent County Council, Country Parks team who provide leisure, educational, events, venue hire and café services across 9 Country Parks in Kent. Country Parks are looking for a Kitchen Porter to work at one of their country park cafes at Shorne Woods Country Park We are seeking a highly motivated individual with an interest in customer service and catering The contract is for 12 - 4 every day from April to the end of October A job share will be considered The individual needs to be organised with strong customer service skills to ensure that visitors to the parks receive a quality café experience. You will report to the Catering Services Manager who is responsible for the four Country Park café sites. This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
