About the Role
We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our expanding team. As an Electrical Engineer you will undertake electrical design work on high‑pressure pipeline and plant systems, working to high engineering standards within the budgets and timescales set by our clients. You will be enthusiastic, conscientious, and detail‑oriented, learning quickly and working methodically under your own initiative and as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will also demonstrate an awareness and commitment to health, safety, and environmental procedures relating to design and construction activities.
Responsibilities
* Undertake electrical design on high‑pressure pipeline and plant systems
* Work to high engineering standards within the budgets and timescales set by clients
* Produce work with good attention to detail
* Learn quickly and work methodically under your own initiative and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Commit to health, safety and environmental procedures relating to design and construction activities
Qualifications
* Gained an Electrical Engineering degree
* Registered with an appropriate institution
* Incorporated or Chartered Engineer
Required Skills
* Experience working within utility, pipeline or related industries
* Good working knowledge of the applicable design codes including BS7671 – electrical wiring regulations and British Standards
Preferred Skills
* Knowledge / experience of AMTECH
* ATEX / DSEAR Compliance
* Knowledge of instrumentation systems would be an advantage
