Our exclusive client based in Chorley are currently looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to cover maternity leave for a minimum of 9 months. This client have gone through massive expansion over the last few years and though this role is initially temporary, it may turn into a permanent role.
Duties include:
* Purchase ledger duties including processing invoices, dealing with queries and preparing the payment runs
* Bank reconciliations
* Overhead accruals and prepayments
* Producing regular KPI reports on billings, revenue and cash
* Dealing with the daily banking
* Dealing with any unallocated cash
* Support the head of finance and the rest of the team where needed
You need to have previous accounting experience to be considered for this role. You will also be a self motivated individual who is enthusiastic, has excellent communication skills and have the ability to work to tight deadlines.
In return the client will commit to a minimum of a 9 month contract whilst also considering you for any permanent position that may arise. You will also receive a competitive salary, 23 days holiday plus banks, free on site parking and pension. The hours of work are 9-5 Monday to Friday and the role is 100% office based.<...
