Overview
Join to apply for the SEO Manager role at Watchfinder. This role is for someone passionate about SEO and using data, automation and best practice to drive significant improvements in organic search. You will lead the implementation of a new e-commerce platform and help shape our SEO strategy to grow visibility across evolving opportunities and landscapes.
Responsibilities
* Lead the development and implementation of SEO strategy across the UK, European and USA markets.
* Manage complex e-commerce sites and our crawl budget.
* Drive the launch of a new website platform migration to deliver a best-in-class customer experience that improves ranking and visibility across the SERPs.
* Implement canonical tags, hreflang tags, schema enhancements, redirect mapping and technical SEO requirements across current and new platforms, ensuring a seamless migration between platforms.
* Conduct technical audits and work with the IT/Dev teams to ensure the websites are optimised from a technical standpoint.
* Collaborate with the content team to optimise existing content; conduct content gap analysis and keyword research where required.
* Create and maintain SEO performance reports, automating where possible.
* Utilise Google Analytics, BrightEdge, Google Search Console and other appropriate tools to identify opportunities and weaknesses.
* Stay up to date with best practices around AI engines/GEO; perform competitor, keyword and ranking analysis and implement optimisations to drive growth in evolving landscapes.
Experience / Qualifications
* Ideally 5+ years of relevant SEO experience, within an agency, brand or media owner, or demonstrable relevant SEO experience.
* Strong understanding of SEO best practices and ability to put processes in place to ensure adherence.
* Comfortable with all aspects of SEO, including technical, content and link optimization.
* Experience with wider digital marketing channels and how they influence SEO and vice versa (PPC, Affiliates and Social).
* Expertise in multi-channel SEO strategies for diverse websites.
* Self-motivated and able to stay up to date with ever-changing industry trends.
* Agile and dynamic mindset to stay ahead of the constant changes the business needs to evolve with.
