Job Overview/Summary
We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. This role is key to providing financial insight that supports strategic decision-making. You'll manage monthly reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis while supporting the implementation of our new ERP system and ensuring it is effectively integrated into our financial workflows.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
* Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts and financial reports
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
* Perform cost accounting and margin analysis, with a strong focus on production and supply chain costs
* Partner with department heads to provide insights and recommendations based on financial performance
* Support the implementation of financial data workflows within the ERP system
* Identify opportunities for process automation, efficiency, and system enhancements
* Reconcile key balance sheet accounts and ensure the integrity of financial data
* Assist with year-end processes, external audits, and compliance
* Develop dashboards and reports for operational and strategic decision-making
* Act as a point of contact for supplier queries
* Delivering robust analysis of actuals to ensure accurate accounting, understanding and analysis with recommendations for senior management
* Balance sheet reconciliation & compliance
* Linking together operational and financial information in weekly reports to management
* Manage outsourced payroll process and admin
* Act as a point of contact for queries, supporting business units with financial insights.
* Ad hoc duties for Finance department
About You
* Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
* 3+ years of experience in a management accounting role, ideally in FMCG, food production, or manufacturing
* Strong understanding of ERP systems and experience improving financial reporting and processes through them
* Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
* Excellent communication and business partnering skills
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
* Passion for working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment
