Job Description:
Job Duties:
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students, parents, and school staff
* Create Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and implement strategies to support student learning
* Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and external professionals to meet the diverse needs of SEN students
* Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Previous Teaching Experience
* Passion for Education
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
* Proven experience working with SEN students
* Strong understanding of different learning styles and SEN strategies
* Excellent communication and time management skills
* Ability to be patient, empathetic, and adaptable in challenging situations
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional SEN training or qualifications
* Experience using assistive technology and resources for SEN students
* Experience in working with students with specific learning disabilities
Working Conditions:
* Regular working hours with occasional extra hours for meetings or planning
* Classroom-based teaching with opportunities for outdoor and practical learning activities
* Collaborative work with other teachers, support staff, and external professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
