School Receptionist
Location: Meadows View School, Stamford, PE9 2JL
Salary: £20,906.25 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only
Start: October 2025

About the role and 4DWW: Outcomes First Group operates a 4-Day Working Week (4DWW) trial. You can work one day less each week (or equivalent hours) while receiving full-time pay. Some schools have already implemented 4DWW or are preparing to roll it out as staffing levels allow.
Responsibilities
* Welcome and assist visitors, parents, and staff in a calm and professional environment.
* Ensure the safety and security of the school and manage visitor access.
* Respond to calls and emails and support the Admin Lead with key administrative tasks.
* Assist with attendance monitoring, communications with parents, and maintaining accurate records.

Essential criteria
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a busy school environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and school management systems
* Friendly, approachable, and professional manner
* Reliability, flexibility, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
* Previous experience in a school or reception/admin role is desirable but not essential
About Us
Meadows View School is a brand-new specialist school in Lincolnshire, part of Options Autism. Based in Stamford, the school supports up to 25 pupils aged 4–11 with autism, complex communication needs, and related learning needs. Options Autism has provided care and education to pupils and adults with autism and related needs for over 16 years.
