Job Opportunity: Chef at Chartwells
We are currently recruiting an ambitious Chef to create exceptional food experiences for Chartwells on a full-time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food that brightens our clients' and customers' days, within the UK's market-leading food service company. Shift pattern overview:
* Monday to Friday: Full-time (Days)
* Saturday and Sunday: Flexible or off
Note: This role is contracted for 43 weeks per year.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing high-quality, delicious food that satisfies our clients and customers
* Managing menu changes and improvements
* Enhancing our food services based on customer feedback
* Assisting with menu creation and food concept development
* Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
* Monitoring stock levels and overseeing kitchen hygiene and safety standards
Ideal candidate profile:
* Passionate about great-tasting food and customer service
* City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent qualification
* Experience supervising a team and in a similar Chef role
* Hold a Food Hygiene certificate
* Flexible approach to working hours
