As a Learner Support Coordinator, your primary role is to conduct progress reviews, identify areas for improvement, provide guidance, and support to enhance the learning experience.
Jobs Growth Wales Plus (JGW+) is a Welsh Government initiative that offers work experience and training opportunities to young people and unemployed individuals, aiming to improve their employability and support job creation across sectors.
Your Impact
1. Conduct regular and comprehensive progress reviews for JGW+ Learners, assessing achievements, challenges, and overall ILP completion.
2. Provide tailored support based on reviews, addressing specific needs to ensure successful participation.
3. Collaborate with learners to set realistic goals, develop action plans, and monitor progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
4. Maintain accurate records of learner progress using data management systems and digital platforms.
What Are We Looking For?
* A passion for working with young people and supporting their growth.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Full Driving Licence and own vehicle.
* Willingness to undergo a DBS check (cost covered) and EWC registration, Disability Confident status.
