About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cost Controller with a strong background in engineering or construction to aour clients dynamic team in Inverness. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health of the clients large-scale projects by managing contract costs, estimating costs to completion, and supporting commercial management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and control contract costs across multiple engineering and construction projects.
2. Prepare and maintain accurate cost forecasts and estimates to completion.
3. Support the commercial team in managing budgets, variations, and financial risk.
4. Oversee financial reporting and ensure alignment with project milestones.
5. Collaborate with project managers and quantity surveyors to ensure cost efficiency.
6. Provide commercial administration support on large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.
Requirements:
7. Proven experience in cost control within the engineering or construction sectors.
8. Strong understanding of commercial administration and financial reporting.
9. Experience working on large-scale projects, ideally in infrastructure or industrial construction.
10. Excellent analytical and communication skills.
11. Proficiency in cost management software and MS Excel.
